Experience the Country Life in Mianzhu Jiulong

Most people may find the country life in early winter maybe a little boring. However, I spent an interesting holiday with my friends in Jiulong Town, Mianzhu City, Sichuan province, where there are all kinds of Chinese new yare paintings on the wall of every house.

Jiulong has been designated as a countryside sightseeing spot, but people there still maintain their original way of life, maybe it is the modern pastoral life.

It isn’t important whether the village maintain its original appearance as that before the earthquake. What’s important is that it is full of hope after the earthquake: it has been included in the rural tourism, unified planning and construction. Visitors can savor authentic farmers rice, experience farm life, you can also climb mountains, go to Jiulong pasture to grass skating, as well as BBQ with a family…

It takes about 1.5 hour to go to Jiulong from Chengdu, and there are road signs to Jiulong along the way.
