Homemade Moon Cakes
One of Chinese traditional festival: Mid-Autumn Festival is
around the corner, which will fall on 19th Sept this year. As one of
the most important part of the festival, moon cake is one kind of Chinese food eaten to celebrate the festival.
Typical moon cakes are round or rectangular pastries, measuring about 10 cm in diameter and 4–5 cm thick. A rich thick filling usually made from red bean or lotus seed paste is surrounded by a thin crust and may contain yolks from salted duck eggs.

Ingredients: plain flour, red bean, pine nuts, convert syrup, maltose (without, changed into syrup), salt, SOAP and water, peanut oil.
