A Scenic View of Sun Moon Lake

Sun Moon Lake is located in Yuchi, Nantou, and the ancestral home of the Thao tribe. The east side of the lake resembles a sun while the west side resembles a moon, so called Sun Moon Lake. It ranked one of the famous attractions in Taiwan. To me, Sun Moon Lake is a beautiful and mysterious place.

We started from Taipei, after more than four hours’ driving, we finally arrived the longing Sun Moon Lake. Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area is famous for the beautiful mountain lakes, rich Thao cultural and the world-famous ecological resources there. Lunch was arrangements in the Aboriginal Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, during which the Thao girls performed folk dances for us.

After lunch, we visited the Aboriginal Culture Village to know something about the history and culture of Thao tribe.
