Hunan Furong Town Old Street

Furong Town was originally called Wang Village, and is located in Yongshun County, Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province, an ancient town living Tujia people. The town is well preserved blue flagstone road and ancient houses. 




This town is famous because it was the shooting place of a Chinese film “Furong Town” which is adapted from a novel. 

By the influence of the film, Furong Town become a hot spot appearing in the territory of the Chinese tourism, as well as a dream place to go and see for tens of thousands of tourists.




The quaint houses are full in Tujia style and local characteristics. The hanging houses are built near the water, very unique. 


The town's main attractions are the Xizhou copper pillars, Wang Village Falls, Tujia ethnic scenery Museum, the Folklore Village, Western Han Dynasty tomb groups and so on.
